What to Expect

Somatic Yin Yoga blends slow, floor-based Yin poses with mindful somatic movements to deeply regulate the nervous system, release chronic tension, and foster inner awareness, focusing on internal sensation over external form for profound physical and emotional healing. We use the breath, grounding, and long holds to retrain habitual movement patterns, promote self-compassion, and help the body "come home" to a sense of safety and ease. We shift attention from the external world to internal sensations, noticing subtle shifts, tension, and spaciousness.
